Source (-or- Origin): Travels of a Novice Geographer

3.2.2020 – Arrival – Remington St., Cambridge MA. The stream flows transparent and lucid on the far side of the dam at the northeast corner of Arrowhead Lake in Maine – a pale blue pool with fingers of green under a foot of clear shimmering water. This place, the human-made ‘source’ of the Little Ossipee River, is the origin of a series of journeys that begin today, with the canoe’s arrival in Cambridge.
